N. Shallowford at N. Peachtree & Ellwyn Dr. Roundabout Project

Construction is scheduled to begin February 5th on the N. Shallowford at N. Peachtree & Ellwyn Dr. Roundabout. The project includes the conversion of the existing North Peachtree Road at North Shallowford Road intersection into a single lane compact roundabout. Additional work includes full depth pavement reconstruction, milling of existing asphalt, concrete vertical curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveways, new roadway signage and striping, storm drainage, landscaping, traffic control and more! Construction Dates

• Stage 1 
• The change to the intersection control is a temporary condition to allow construction to begin for the conversion to a roundabout intersection. Stage 1 traffic shift will occur from approximately February 20^th to June 1^st 2024. Electronic signs will be placed on each approach 10 days prior to February 20^th , to warn the general traffic of the intersection control change and when it will be implemented.
• Stage 2
• June 1^st to June 28^th 2024 (Traffic shift rendering will be provided by May 2024)
• Stage 3
• June 28^th to September 2024 (Traffic shift rendering will be provided by May 2024)
• Stage 4
• September 2024 to November 1^st 2024 (Traffic shift rendering will be provided by August 2024)
