Parks, Recreation & Arts Vision
To provide safe, clean and beautiful parks facilities while offering leisure activities that enhance the quality of life for our citizens and visitors; and provide opportunities for artists to create and display their work throughout the City and increase access to the arts for all.
Parks, Recreation & Arts Responsibilities
The Parks, Recreation & Arts Department is responsible for managing the public arts program, parks programming, and the administration of park facilities and park operations. The Parks & Recreation Department works closely with Public Works to maintain parks.
