About the Nonprofit Partnership Program

Cities and nonprofits often have shared missions and goals, but many nonprofits struggle to find and retain funding, support, volunteers, and awareness. The City of Chamblee's Nonprofit Partnership Program (NPP) is a testament to collaboration between the two and represents a winning combination to affect positive social change in communities.
The Chamblee Nonprofit Partnership Program is designed to strengthen, promote, and connect nonprofits by encouraging collaboration, enhancing organizational visibility and supporting organizational development and capacity-building.


About the Programming
- Let's Talk About...
- Roundtable Series: Casual, two-way conversations facilitated by city staff that dives deeper into topics that are timely and relevant to participating nonprofit organizations and open the door to collaboration.
- Lunch and Learn
- Professional/Organizational Development: Series that is hosted by an industry professional that covers a wide range of topics. Guest speakers include professional with expertise in areas such as fundraising, grant writing, board development, organizational transformation and more.
- Quarterly Grant Opportunity
- Funding Opportunity: Active NPP members can apply for funding for their events or programs two times per fiscal year. Awarded funds are required to be spent at a Chamblee business.
About the Benefits
The Chamblee NPP provides support to expand the capacity to serve the Chamblee community through the following benefits:- Community Room Rental
- Arrow Creek and City Hall: Active NPP members are permitted to rent the Arrow Creek Community Room in the Public Safety Building and the Community Room in City Hall for meetings, events, and other approved gatherings.
- SignUp.com
- Volunteer Recruitment Portal: Members are granted free access to the volunteer recruitment portal. SignUp.com provides a central space where nonprofits can list their volunteer needs and give community members a place to connect with volunteer opportunities.
- Vendor Booths at City Events
- Marketing Opportunities: The City of Chamblee hosts various events throughout the year that attract 30,000 people a year. By providing free 10x10 booth spaces ($50 refundable deposit is required), NPP members can market their organization or recruit new volunteers.
