Interim City Manager

Chuck Button joined the City of Chamblee in 2024 as the Interim City Manager. Button will oversee the day-to-day operations of all city departments and staff until a permanent City Manager is hired. During the last 15-years, Button served as the former COO and principal of JJG, now known as Jacobs, and later as a Client Service Manager for Jacobs. During the late 80's and early 90's, he led Gwinnett County as the County Manager during its time as the fastest growing county in the country.

Deputy City Manager

Kristen Gorham joined the City of Chamblee in 2019 as a Senior Management Analyst. In 2020 she was promoted to Assistant City manager and then was appointed Deputy City Manager in 2021. As Deputy City Manager, Kristen oversees several of the city's day-to-day operations, including Administrative Services, Capital Projects, Community Engagement, Municipal Court, Parks & Recreation, and Public Works. A native of Frisco,  Texas Kristen received her bachelor's degree from Florida State University and her Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. She maintains professional affiliations with the Georgia City/County Manager's Association (GCCMA), the International City Manager's Association (ICMA), and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
