About Elections and Polling Information

The City of Chamblee is governed by one Mayor and five Council Members who each represent a specific district (District 1, 2, 3, 4, and At-Large), and are elected for staggered four year terms by a city-wide vote. Elections are held in odd-numbered years on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. The terms of office begin within five days after the results of the election have been certified by DeKalb County.

2023 Election & Qualifying Information

According to State Law O.C.G.A. § 21-2-9(b), and the City Charter of Chamblee, the offices of Council Members, District Two (2), District Three (3), and District Four (4) shall be elected on November 7, 2023.
