The City of Chamblee joined with the City of Doraville in 2016 to complete the Buford Highway Livable Centers Initiative (LCI) study. The Buford Highway Master Plan is the result of the study. The Plan will be used by the City to guide decision making along the Buford Highway Corridor.
On August 15, 2017, the City of Chamblee Mayor and City Council voted to send the Final Draft version of the Buford Highway Master Plan to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) for final review and comment. The final version of the Plan adopted by both cities can be downloaded here: Buford Highway Master Plan.
