Georgia Cities Week
Cities across Georgia will celebrate Georgia Cities Week April 17-23, with the theme “Go to Town.” Georgia Cities Week gives cities an opportunity to share information about the valuable services cities provide to residents and how cities positively impact their quality of life. The week is also an opportunity to celebrate community achievements and recognize volunteers and city employees.

First Time for Chamblee
2015 was the first time Chamblee participated in GA Cities Week. The City worked with a group of active community members to come up with a plan of activities for GA Cities Week. This group involved Chamblee 101 graduates, Recreation Advisory Committee members and representatives from Keep Chamblee Beautiful, the Chamblee Chamber of Commerce and the Arts Chamblee. This year, the City worked with another group of community members to come up with this year's schedule.
