·   How do I get on the Chamblee email list?

     Email the city clerk, Nancy Williams and ask her to put you on the list.

 

·   How do I get an item on the Agenda?

    Agenda items have to be sponsored by an Elected Official and their names are listed on the website.

 

·   When is the last day to get an item(s) on the Agenda?

    The agenda closes at noon on the Thursday before the second Thursday of each month.

 

·   How do I get a copy of the Agenda?

  1. They are posted to the website;
  2. You can send your request via email to the City Clerk;
  3. You can come to City Hall to pick up a copy.

 

·   When are the Work Session and/or Public Hearing(s) meeting?

    The Thursday before the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm.

 

·   When is the Regular Council meeting?

    The third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm.

 

·   How do I get a copy of the Work Session and/or City Council minutes?

    Minutes are not official until after they are approved at the next month’s Regular Council Meeting. Once approved, the minutes are posted to the website or you can fill out an open records request at City Hall.

 

·   How do I find out if my street is in the city limits of Chamblee?

    You can call City Hall at 770-986-5010 for verification.

 

·   Does the City of Chamblee collect taxes? 

    DeKalb County collects the taxes for the City of Chamblee.

 

·   Does Chamblee have a Chamber of Commerce?

    No.

 

·   What is the best way to get a copy of an ordinance and how much does it cost?

    You can go to our website, www. chambleega.com for a copy of all ordinances at no charge.

 

·   How do I get information on a business that is located in Chamblee?

    You can fill out an open records request by one of the following methods:

  1. Fill out open records request in person at City Hall;
  2. Fax your request to 770-986-5014;
  3. Mail your request to City of Chamblee, 5468 Peachtree Rd., Chamblee, GA 30341.

 

·   How long before I can get the Open Records Request information? 

    Upon receipt of request, we have three business days to respond. There is a .25 charge per page.
