City of Chamblee, Georgia - Open Position

Position Title: Sanitation Worker                             Department: Public Works

Date: 5/10/2011                                                      Reports To: Foreman        

The purpose of this position is to perform waste pick-up along prescribed routes and to handle various equipment used in the daily operation of the city. Duties include: driving sanitation equipment, collecting materials for recycling and disposing of refuse appropriately, clearing debris from streets, assisting in the maintenance of right-of-ways, and assisting with interdepartmental projects as needed.

Minimum training and experience required: 
GA Drivers License, High School Diploma, or GED .

Starting Salary: $25,575.00
