Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson FAA Class 'B' Airspace Proposal

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning changes to the Class 'B' Airspace for the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport which may have significant implications for DeKalb Peachtree Airport (PDK) and the surrounding areas.

PDK management did a presentation at the Chamblee City Council meeting on February 11, 2010, where they explained what the FAA was planning as well as providing airport management's opinions on what the effects will be if the plans become a reality.

The FAA has scheduled a fact-finding meeting on March 1, 2010, to be held at the Chamblee Civic Center to solicit information regarding the proposal.

More information is available on the ODK website at http://www.pdkairport.org/index.asp
