Scott Taylor Mayor pro tem At-Large Seat First Elected November 2005 Term Expires 2009 770-986-5010 staylor@chambleega.com |
Scott Taylor was born in High Point, North Carolina. He moved to Athens, Georgia in 1983 where he attended the University of Georgia for his undergrad college education. Scott obtained a B.S. in Psychology and then began a career as a therapist. Scott returned to Athens in 1988 to attend graduate school in which he obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work. He currently is employed with United Behavioral Health as a Care Advocate.
Scott moved to the mid-city district of Chamblee in January, 2000. He has a 70 pound lap dog named Bentley and a cat, who thinks she is a dog, named Mischief. Scott has been an active member of his homeowner’s board since its beginning. Areas of interest include: cooking, finding new up and coming music, attending concerts, playing sports, working with plants, and reading.
As the youngest of 12 children, Dan was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. After attending Catholic University in Washington, DC he moved to Atlanta in 1994.
Dan and his wife Monica moved to Chamblee in July of 2004. The growing, but friendly atmosphere of Chamblee was the perfect fit for the friendly and active couple. Shortly after moving to his home in Sexton Woods, Dan left his 10+ years of experience in the corporate world behind to start his own landscape company. This has proven to be a satisfying decision for Dan, Monica and their new son, Trigg. Outdoors is where you're most likely to see Dan and his family. Playing softball and tennis in Keswick Park, or just walking the neighborhood with other friends and their families are just a few of the ways he enjoys his (very little) free time.
Now in his second term, Dan enjoys being involved and part of the process that is keeping Chamblee a great place to live, work and raise a family.
