Elections
City of Chamblee municipal elections are held in odd-numbered years, on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All voting for Chamblee Municipal Elections takes place in the Chamblee Civic Center located at 3540 Broad Street.
To vote in city, county, state and federal elections, you must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years old, mentally sound and not under conviction of a felony. Georgia does not require any length of residence as a condition to registering to vote.
To register to vote or to transfer your registration from another Georgia county, you may get an application at City Hall or any DeKalb Library Branch. After completing the form you may take it to the DeKalb County Registrar's Office, 4380 Memorial Drive in Decatur or mail it directly to the Secretary of State's Office.
