A City on the Right Track

Government

City HallThe health of a city depends on the active participation of its residents in the continuing business of that city. In Chamblee, the local government expects for individuals, corporations, volunteer associations and the public sector to work together. It's an expectation that they've made more than a motto. Every month the Mayor and City Council ask for the comments and concerns of the people at two different meetings. Active participation in electoral politics is encouraged. Most importantly, the business of the people is always open and accessible to the people.

We believe that it's this type of approachable government that builds greater political and social trust and makes Chamblee a model for civic renewal.
