Economic Development

The City of Chamblee Economic Development Department works to develop, promote, and implement plans, programs, and policies to attract and retain business and industry to the City.

This office also serves as the staff liaison for the Downtown Development Authority of Chamblee and manages the functions and activities of the authority, including strategic planning, meeting management and report preparation.

In partnership with the City of Chamblee and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) also serves as the Main Street Board, assisted in its mission by economic development staff. Volunteer opportunities are available through the committee structure created by the DDA. Please check the DDA website for more information.

For help obtaining your business' occupational tax certificate, or any other regulatory need, please see the City Clerk.

The office is staffed by Adam Causey, who may be reached at acausey@chambleega.gov or 470-395-2308.
